 CHANGE IS COMING

(under contruction)

During the next few weeks this web site will be changing the way it is organized. Everything will be under the 5 Practices of Fruitful Congregations. Please bear with me as I attempt to simplify this web site.

Yours in Christ,

Virginia Dewey

WHAT IS A FRUITFUL CHURCH?
The Bible has much to say about being "fruitful" as believers in Christ and as a church. AS BELIEVERS, in addition to worshipping His Holy Father, it would seem clear that Christ has much more in mind for us.

Christ promised us that if we believe in Him and trust in His Holy Spirit that we will be filled with more love, patience, joy, peace, and kindness. What is inside will be reflected outside as "fruits" of His Holy Spirit. "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5)

AS A CHURCH, He called us to "go and make disciples". Churches in every community fulfill this challenge by reaching out beyond their walls to show those who don't know Christ what it means to be a Christian. Fruitfulness as a church means finding ways to fulfill this mission in practical and effective ways in their communities. Fruitful churches make a difference!
