Broken and Contrite Christian Web Banner

“United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”

The shawls that we knit or crochet are given away to those who are sick, grieving, or anyone who is in need of prayer.
The mystery of the Prayer-Shawl is not in yarn or the needles, but in the action of God. Our hope is to discover that God is working in the lives of the ones for whom we are praying. God is also working in the lives of the knitters and crocheters.
If you enjoy knitting or crocheting or would like to learn then just grab your needles or hook and join us in this special ministry on Mondays at 2:00 pm in the Gathering Space
UWM Circle meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 9:30 am. Starting in September each year we begin a new Bible study. Our study ends in May. We do not meet for regular meetings during the summer, but watch for special events. All ladies are encouraged to join us for refreshments beginning at 9:30 and then Bible study following. (You do not need to be a member of our church to join.)
If you would be interested in joining an UMW and have questions, please call the church office. 669-7411
